Welcome to my travel blog! My name is Bhanuka Jayasuriya, a Digital Wanderer with 14 years of experience in the tourism industry, a Sri Lankan national, and one of the most compelled better travelers in the world. By profession, I tend to the digital world of IT and project management (yes, I have a PMP certificate), but what I want to do is span the globe—one country at a time.
The Netherlands: I had the delightful opportunity to spend 11 days in this country, which included city sightseeing, taking boat rides through their canals and gazing at colorful tulips in the fields.
UAE: I spent a month in this country and managed to cover it all, from touring the majestic Dubai and Abu Dhabi to getting lost in their expansive deserts and finally experiencing the culture of the smaller emirates.
Bali, Indonesia: My 5-day trip to this tropical destination had a very calming touch to it due to the jaw dropping beaches, the rice terraces and the spiritual presence all around.
Singapore: In 12 days, I appreciated the wonder of this country, which included futuristic architecture blended with greenery alongside all its cultural beauty.
Malaysia: Every corner in my 10-day trip was bustling with activity, starting from the islands, relaxing at the beaches to visiting the colonial history in Kuala Lumpur.
